This video is amazing. I hope all my fellow TTC ladies will enjoy!! =) Have a great weekend!!
After two years of trying to conceive including: my husband's battle with Testicular Cancer, a Uterine Septum requiring two surgeries, Stage II Endometriosis, three HSGs, one SIS, one failed IUI cycle(Chemical Pregnancy), one IVF cycle cancelled by Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), and one Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) cycle- we triumphed over infertility and delivered our first child on May 21, 2013. We are currently expecting an unexpected miracle baby in May 2015.

September 8....
My nurse confirmed me for surgery on Sept 8. I'm super excited that it's truly going to happen on that day. B's urologist appointment Friday was a huge let-down. The DR acted like he was unclear about why we made the appointment. Our RE told us that it was advised to go to a urologist about the elevated FSH levels in Brandon. They did a repeat SA and we have yet to receive the results. I had Brandon call our nurse and leave a message earlier this morning. As far as the surgery's concerned, we'll have to still pay some $ OOP (out of pocket), but that was expected.
So no real news. I'm still waiting for my surgery in September and now waiting to see if B's SA fluctuated at all. Lots of waiting.....

Patience ...
"Patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting." I stumbled upon this quote this morning, remembering that patience is not one of the virtues I have mastered. =)
I had an extremely productive day yesterday. Dad stopped by, and it was the first time I had seen him in over a week. After I got motivated for the day (thanks to my Dr. Pepper) I went to the tanning bed, got my hair trimmed for the first time since December, ate lunch in the car, went to the grocery store, washed 2 loads of laundry, ate again, watched a movie, and waited for Brandon to come home. Once he was home we went for a run and then grilled steaks for dinner. Sometimes I feel like I've wasted my free time, but not yesterday. I had a nice, productive day. =)

Weekends are never long enough
I've had a headache for about 3 days now. =( I typically can sleep them off, but not this time. I also feel nauseated every day now. I've already finished one bottle of Pepto this month.
We have a urologist appointment scheduled for Brandon this Friday. His FSH levels were elevated during past blood work and the RE seems to think that we need to get this figured out. Brandon's been taking vitamins for SA and I'm anxious to see what else the urologist has to offer. The other day I mentioned how tobacco pretty much kills sperm. Brandon had NO idea. How had he never heard of this? He said that he's going to cut back. I figure that I should let this argument slide and if his numbers don't get better we'll talk about it again.
September still seems so far away. I know that I haven't had to endure this that long, but 9 months is still a long time. I've been off BCP for a year now and only had 10 cycles. Only 4 of those cycles have been ovulatory. I just can't help but feel that this isn't fair. I think I'm more discouraged that I have to wait for insurance to cover a surgery and then wait to recover before trying IUI. What if IUI doesn't work the first time??

Finally Friday
I finally slept last night, but dreamed about holding babies. One of our customers yesterday told us about how she finally got pregnant but lost her baby and has been too devastated to try again. It was sad. I told her about Fertility Friend and how it's a great support system for women in all different situations. I hope she gets the courage to try again and have a baby to take home this time.
Yesterday flew by. I sold 2 rings to a lady(1 engagement for her and an engagement ring for her fiance.)
I also started reading 1984 by George Orwell. Somehow I never read that book in school. One of the girls at work is supposed to read it for summer reading, so I thought I'd read it to help her out. I mean, I love reading and need something to occupy my thoughts. =) It's a great book thus far. The government controls everything and everyone is filled with paranoia about "Big Brother" watching.
