Yesterday I had an inquiry about GIA. "The Gemological Institute of America is the foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls." I work for a locally owned jewelry store in Alabaster, AL. My boss has been in the jewelry business his entire life. Jen (co-worker) and I are taking a class through GIA's distance learning program. I took my first assessment yesterday and scored perfectly! =) So far, I've learned a LOT about diamonds.
The side effects from BCP have started. Before walking in the door to work yesterday I had to sit down and breathe heavily to keep from throwing up in public. Not one of my finer moments! Thankfully, I had some chewable Pepto in my purse. I snacked and didn't eat lunch until 3pm, so I wasn't even hungry for dinner when I got home.
We got some kinda-positive news yesterday about my SIL. Again, that's all that I can say at the moment.
22 more days. =) Time is flying by. The summer is gone and September is almost here.
After two years of trying to conceive including: my husband's battle with Testicular Cancer, a Uterine Septum requiring two surgeries, Stage II Endometriosis, three HSGs, one SIS, one failed IUI cycle(Chemical Pregnancy), one IVF cycle cancelled by Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), and one Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) cycle- we triumphed over infertility and delivered our first child on May 21, 2013. We are currently expecting an unexpected miracle baby in May 2015.
Thanks for posting this!! GIA sounds really interesting! I hope you do well in your classes! :)
