Trigger tonight; ET Wednesday

Janet called.  =)
e2:  3929
p4:  2.1

We are triggering tonight at 9:15 with 10,000 IU Novarel.  Our Egg Retrieval is set for Wednesday morning at 9:15.

Janet did inform me that I am at an increased risk of developing OHSS.  They have prescribed me Dostinex to start taking this evening to help reduce the risk.

Thank you for sharing in our journey!  We are excited to see what God has in store for us.  We have complete faith that He is in charge of our situation.

  4. Congrats! I'm glad everything is going so well. I used Dostinex with our first IVF (and a similar E2 level) and avoided OHSS. You probably won't avoid swelling entirely though. (Even shy of hyperstimulating, it can be impressive, and painful.) Do you have some stretchy skirts to get you through the next few days?

Good luck at the retrieval. Fingers crossed!

  5. Good luck! I hope the medication helps you to avoid OHSS! I've heard gatorade and protein can help you avoid ohss as well; fingers crossed for lots of beautiful follies!
