Happy Friday

Yesterday I got sick.  Well, I had started feeling yucky Tuesday afternoon.  My allergies are extremely sensitive.  I had taken Valium for my SIS on Wednesday, and once it began wearing off, I felt terrible.  My nose was stuffy and runny, my head was pounding, and I just couldn't stop sneezing.  I barely slept Wednesday evening.  I made it in to work yesterday morning for only about 2 hours.  Thankfully, Paul let me leave early to go to the doctor and rest.  Once I got to the doctor, I was running a fever!  They gave me two shots (one in each cheek), a z-pack, and some cough syrup.  The nurse laughed that I didn't even flinch for either of the shots.  I guess I'm a pro now!

I slept a few hours during the afternoon and burned off my fever.  When it was time to go to bed, I wasn't tired.  I slept off and on all night, but still managed to wake up feeling rested.  This week has been a blur for me.  I'm glad it's Friday and I'm feeling better.  We have dinner date plans Saturday, much cleaning to do, and church and softball practice on Sunday.
