The Good Things

A fellow blogger (Hattie) reminded me that we need to focus on and post about the positive things happening in our lives.

  • It's Friday the 13th.  My favorite day!

  • Brandon loves his job.  He is able to work from home, meet many new people, and travel.  He should have always worked in sales.  It makes me happy to see him excited to get up and go to work each day.  He hasn't had that in a long time.

  • We love our church.  Our faith family has been so supportive of our journey.  Brandon is playing softball with the church this summer and I look forward to meeting more people.  (Plus I get to hold Nesia at all of the Sunday practices!)  All of the women in the church have been great to ask about me and our journey.  Katherine, Eleanna, Erica, Carolyn, and Miss Elaine always check up on  me.

  • My little sister is graduating from elementary school next month.  Where does time go?  Nate and Beth are staying with us for a week next month for Mom and Dave to go out of town for their anniversary.  I'm excited that I'm going to get to spend some time with them.

  • It's summertime.  My favorite time of the year.  =)  I may not look my best in a swimsuit this year, but who cares?!?  Tan fat is better than white fat!

  • And for what it's worth, this is my 200th blog post.  I never thought that my blog would amount to much of anything.  I'm glad I was wrong.

Sending everyone positive energy and sticky vibes!

  1. It's great to focus on what we have and what we are grateful for, so easy to lose perspective when thing are not going good. Thanks for reminding me of that! :-)
